Nusa Dua is a resort area built in the 1970 in the southern part of Bali, Indonesia. Known as a large five-star resort area, this area covers 350 hectares of land and has more than 20 resorts. It is located 22 kilometers from Denpasar, the capital of Bali province, and is part of the Benoa sub-district in South Kuta, Badung Regency. Nusa Dua means two islands (nusa 'island', dua 'two'), because there are two islands in the bay of the Bali Tourism Development Corporation area. On the south side there is Peninsula Island, and on the north side there is Nusa Dharma Island, which is smaller but shadier, and inside it is the Nusa Dharma Temple.
