Bedugul is a tourist area with lakes and mountains in Bali, Indonesia, located in the center of the island near Lake Bratan between Denpasar and Singaraja. This area includes the villages of Bedugul itself, Candikuning, Pancasari, Pacung and Wanagiri. Bedugul is located in Tabanan Regency, 48 kilometers (30 mi) north of Denpasar city or 20 kilometers (12 mi) south of Singaraja.
In this area there are three crater lakes, namely Lake Bratan, Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan. The main tourist attractions in Bedugul are Ulun Danu Bratan Temple and the Bali Botanical Gardens. The Bali Botanical Gardens opened in 1959. This botanical garden covers an area of ??1,575 hectares (3,890 acres), being one of the largest botanical gardens in Indonesia.
