Karangasem Regency is a district located in the province of Bali, Indonesia. The capital is Amlapura City. It has two ports, namely Padang Bai and Tanah Ampo. In this district is located the largest temple in Bali, namely Pura Besakih. The population of Karangasem was 416,600 people in 2019, and by the end of 2023 there would be 533,742 people.
