Penglipuran Village (Price : USD 50)

Penglipuran village bali is traditional village that offer other atmosphere than other villages in bali. The word of penglipuran came from pengeling temple word that mean holy place to remember the ancestor, this village is located in kubu sub district bangli regency, around 700m above sea level. for who was bored with beach and nature tourism site, you can try to see rows of houses lined up the right and left side of the stone road and village temple that overlooks the village at the end of the stone road is worth a visit. different things between penglipuran village with other villages is village layout, the atmosphere is cool, clean and also neat, a very visible feature of this village is a traditional building architecture that has the same form of the roof and the layout of the room.

Get in the house through arched gates and you will welcomed friendly by residents who will be showing you around their complex. The village has an area of 112 hectares, of which 40% is used as land for bamboo forests that are popular among traveler for used to trekking tours and mountain cycling tours, population of the village is about 226 and most of them are farmer and crafter.

For The best moments to visiting this village is when Galungan Day Celebrations where you can see ornate ‘penjor’ are erected in front of each house and line the street, creating a spectacular sight.
